Computer Basics, Level One:
4 weeks - 12 hours - $48

Our first course, for the complete beginner. Learn to use your mouse, keyboard, and disk drives. All versions of Windows are covered, from 98 to XP.

Computer Basics, Level Two:
4 weeks - 12 hours - $48

Applications and Accessories - Learn to use the free tools on your system. Write letters with WordPad, Paint pictures. This course will also unravel the mysteries of My Computer, My Documents and Windows Explorer and show you how to set up your files so that you can easily find things again. Rescue files from the Recycle Bin, personalize your system with icons, screen savers and themes, add new icons as shortcuts. This is becoming one of our most popular courses, so register early.

Wordprocessing:

Use our PC suite compatible with Microsoft Word to create documents, format them, add pictures.

Introduction to Internet and Email:
4 weeks - 12 hours - $48

Internet: Learn to surf the Internet using Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Learn menu commands and shortcuts. Learn about security and privacy. Search like a pro and get the most from your internet experience.

E-Mail: Hands on introduction to e-mail, covers attaching files, photos, managing your e-mail messages, using and address book, e-mail etiquette and more. Virus protection is discussed. Organize your e-mail folders, control junk mail with Rules. Optimize Outlook Express for privacy and security.

Internet Workshop: A special workshop teaching advanced searching, downloading and saving pictures, pages, learn to download free software, to install software, and uninstall software. Must have completed Computer Basics classes or equivalent.

Digital Camera Basics:
2 weeks - 5 hours - $30

Learn to download your images from a digital camera to your computer. What too look for in a digital camera, how to work with photos and save to your hard drive. Paste images to your e-mail message. Manipulate your photos to enhance, crop them and resize them.

Computer Art Workshop : Special workshops - 5 hours - $30

Work with graphics, design your own greeting cards, scan photos of friends and families, learn how to organize your files into photo albums and save them to CD.
